The game got interesting right from the draft phase, as Dendi and Crystallize swapped lanes, giving Dragon Knight the safe lane and moving Morphling to mid. This way, the latter got plenty of assistance from the supports in the mid lane, while Dendi was playing solo.
The match got off to a calm start, as both teams focused more on farming than searching for fights. Rare battles had even outcomes and neither team was able to mount the lead, despite the net worth chat being topped by Natus Vincere’s carry.
At the 18 minute mark, a deciding team fight broke off at the mid lane, with NAVI coming out on top as they took down three enemy heroes. That allowed us to destroy the mid tower and increase the net worth differential significantly.
Notably, from that point on TNC Pro Team could not pick out any of our heroes, while NaVi kept on dealing pressure and engaging fights. The game was over at minute 26, which saw Natus Vincere enter the enemy’s high ground: despite all the defense attempts, the opponents had no choice but to call GG and give us the series win — 1:0!
