The Kuala Lumpur Major: Closed Qualifier

The Kuala Lumpur Major Closed Qualifier will take place on September 16-18.

A total of eight squads will battle it out for the LAN spot, but only two will secure it. Four teams have been invited directly and four more fought their way through the open qualifier.

The teams will be split into two groups to compete in double-elimination brackets. Group stage results will affect the seeding for the playoffs, as top teams will start in the upper bracket and the outsiders will have to go through the lower bracket. All games will be bo3.

The winning teams will travel to Malaysia in mid-November to compete for $ 1,000,000 and 15,000 DPC points. Sixteen teams from six regions will perform in the Axiata Arena.
