ESL Pro League S8 Finals: NAVI.GG.BET — to playoffs!

Natus Vincere advances to the next stage!

After beating  Ghost Gaming, the  NAVI.GG.BET team has reached the playoffs of ESL Pro League S8 Finals! The next rival of the Born to Win in the quarterfinals will be Team Liquid.

The tournament for our team began with the most difficult match with ORDER. So, our guys after an unsuccessful defense game (5:10), were able to demonstrate a well-coordinated teamwork in the attack and made a comeback ending the match with a score 16:14.

Then NAVI was expecting a game against mousesports, where the winner guaranteed himself a place in the playoffs. Unfortunately, in this battle, our guys could not oppose mousesports: first, the defeat of  Natus Vincere on the opponent’s map (6:16 —  Nuke), and then the latter’s impeccable defense performance (14:1) ensured that the «mice» won the Train (16:4).

Thus, the last day of the group stage NAVI approached it with a «no margin for error» attitude. The first match went without any complications for the Born to Win: a victory was gained at the completion of two maps(16:9 —  Nuke; 16:4 — Dust2).

The last ticket to the playoffs was to be played out with  Ghost Gaming. The events unfolded as follows: Canadians won the Inferno (16:11), after which NAVI took the Train (19:16), and on the decisive map, our guys prevailed (Mirage — 16: 6).  s1mple was recognized as the best player of this match (KD — 83:47; rating — 1.49; ADR — 96.6).

Congratulations to the players of  Natus Vincere with the fact that the guys managed to get out of a difficult situation in the group and reach the playoffs! The final stage of the tournament will take place on December 7–9, and the next match with the participation of NAVI will be on December 7 at 19:50 CET.
