The first game started with 1-3 rune exchange. The teams were very passive, only trading some HP, but not getting any kills. Ultimately, ru Chu ganked midlane 4 minutes in, securing a kill on enemy mid, Shadow Demon. A little later, enemy Undying scored a kill on Tidehunter. From that point onwards, teams became more active, rotating around the map. A big skirmish happened around 9 minutes in the midlane — ua NAVI lost 2m while the opponent only lost the mid hero. ua MagicaL was sitting on 5/0/1 score, feeling very comfortable.

20 minutes in, ua NAVI went for the Roshan after killing Shadow Demon again. After a pickoff on Nature's Prophet, ua NAVI went for the highground — eu Vega had no resources to defend, so they gave up the T3. Soon, Aegis was reclaimed, and we went for the high ground again; ua Crystallize had to teleport back to base to defend the tower from the Anti-Mage — our tower fell, but we got a good fight and the barracks in return. Soon, ua NAVI managed to take down bottom T3 and the melee rax. From there onwards, it was a base trade — we had an upper hand in those trades, as Anti-Mage and Nature's Prophet weren't taking down buildings fast enough: we secured Megas. It only took 1 fight and the death of Anti-Mage to secure the game 1!

The second game had the First Blood relatively early on. The offlane wasn't easy for ua NAVI, as a classic Juggernaut-Crystal Maiden combo didn't lose its effectiveness at all. Even though eu Vega had better offensive potential for now, we weren't falling that far behind. eu Vega started moving a lot more aggressively around the map, scoring twice our kills by 12 minutes. Still, we maintained a slight net worth advantage thanks to ua Crystallize and ua MagicaL farming up. At 19 minutes, eu Vega went for a fight in our jungle, but a good setup from ua NAVI allowed us to wipe 4 opponents and secure the first Roshan of the game.

The Aegis was popped very soon, and a series of rather unfortunate fights followed. We kept losing heroes, and eu Vega accumulated some advantage, but it still wasn't insurmountable. The fight at 31 minutes had eu Vega almost wiped out again, as they only managed to get 1 hero away. That allowed ua NAVI to try taking down the Roshan — eu Vega bought 2 heroes back, but they were killed very fast, and we secured the Aegis. With the Aegis and 2 heroes unable to buy back, we went for the high ground.

We kept going for the Will-O-Wisp+Stone Gaze combo, and eu Vega were falling into the trap repeatedly. By 36 minutes there was only 1 barrack standing, but it stayed there till the end — the Stone Gaze was enough to secure us 2 important kills, and the game was over. ua NAVI take their first series at WePlay! Valentine Madness 2:0!
