QPL S1 Stage 2: First week of the tournament
0 : 3 — cYpheR's defeat
Today Alexei “cYpheR” Yanushevsky will begin his performance in the second stage of the first season of the Quake Pro League. Alexei has to play three maps.
Marcell "k1llsen" Paul, representative of BIG, will be a cYpheR's first opponent. The German veteran of the professional Quake scene has been performing at a high level for more than fifteen years and in his time he has played in Quake III Arena, Quake 4 and Quake Live.
It is important to note that k1llsen was the winner of the pilot stage of the first season of the League at QuakeCon 2019, taking down COOLLERZ and rapha. In the first stage, Marcel took second place in the regular draw and came short in the LAN finals: first he won a very difficult game against vengeurR, then he lost to COOLLERZ without a single chance and eventually took the 3rd-4th place in the standings.

In any case, cYpheR approaches the start of the second stage in a good mood and will try to show his best game. In the first stage, Alexei also took the 3rd-4th places, making his way from the Challenger League, playing five matches in the LAN final and beating one of the best players of our time - rapha.
The fight promises to be intense and, no doubt, interesting. Be sure to join the live broadcast and support cYpheR, who will start his performance in the second stage of the League!
