Quake Pro League Season 2: Stage 3
The third stage of the second season of the Quake Pro League will be held from May 9th to July 30th, with NAVI player Alexei "cYpheR" Yanushevsky battling for the top spots in the tournament.
The twenty participants in the tournament come from two regions - South and North America and Europe/CIS. Each region has 10 players and they will compete against each other for ten weeks.
Based on the results of the regular season, the position of all the players is decided in the final round. The four best world-ranked players will progress to the quarter-finals, the four worst-ranked players play the best Challenger League participants in Relegations matches and the remaining players will progress to the 1/16 stage.

Tournament format
— Swiss system in which competitors do not necessarily have to play each opponent;
— matches include 3 mandatory maps;
— winning each map earns two points;
— if a player wins all three maps, such victory brings a total of eight points;
— top four players in the world rankings qualify for the LAN-final quarterfinal stage;
— the two worst players from each region will play in the Relegation match against the top Challenger League participants;
— the remaining players qualify for the 1/16 stage.
