NAVI Junior have qualified for Esports World Cup 2025!
The Western Europe qualifier for the Dota 2 tournament at the Esports World Cup 2025 has come to an end. In the final match of the qualifiers, NAVI Junior and AVULUS faced off for a spot in the main stage of the championship.
The final series was extremely tough and intense — both teams had equal chances of winning on every map. However, it was the players of NAVI Junior who ultimately came out on top with a 3:1 victory, securing a coveted place at the Esports World Cup 2025!
In total, the juniors played six matches in this qualifier. They first defeated 1win Team, but then lost to MOUZ in the second match and dropped into the lower bracket.
There, they overcame Zero Tenacity, and then once again beat 1win Team. In the lower bracket final, the juniors met their previous offenders — MOUZ — and took revenge for their earlier loss.
In the grand final of the qualifiers, our team faced AVULUS. This opponent was already familiar to the NAVI Junior players, as they had previously beaten them at the DreamLeague Season 26 tournament.
Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of their rivals, our team carried their performance through to ultimate triumph in these qualifiers! Up next is the main tournament, where a $3,000,000 prize pool will be at stake.
A reminder: the Dota 2 championship at the Esports World Cup 2025 will take place from July 8–19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The tournament will feature 16 teams — 9 received direct invitations, and the rest earned their spots through qualification events.
Congratulations to NAVI Junior on this great achievement! We’re sure the team will delight fans with top-tier gameplay at the championship itself!
