Game 1 started off quite evenly, as both teams traded heroes, with most action happening during the first couple of minutes. However, as there was little aggression coming in from the side of ua NAVI, the cores of ru Effect enjoyed quite a bit of freedom. Coming into the end of the laning stage, the situation was relatively even. Yet the first Roshan taken by ru Effect helped them gain some sizeable advantage 14 minutes in, and even tried for the first high ground push.

The opponents continued to increase their advantage, as they kept getting pickoffs, especially on ua Crystallize. We had to go for some risky farm, attempting to last through the mid game into the late stage with the help of Tinker. Around 24 minutes ru Effect took the second Roshan, while we managed to farm up some key items, which would make the game easier for cores. With the Aegis on Juggernaut, the opponent went for the high ground, and managed to demolish top T3, losing Aegis and Brewmaster in the process.

As the timer reached 30 minutes, ua NAVI had no outer towers remaining, but the "rat plan" of ours worked - 2 siege creeps on the bottom lane dealt just enough damage to the bot T3 to take it down - that ensured that we could deny some map control to the opponent. The game settled down, as both teams resorted to farming, until Shadow Fiend bought Scythe of Vyse, which gave the Radiant a lot of confidence to siege the high ground. That did not go well for them, as not only ua NAVI forced out the Aegis, but killed every single hero of ru Effect, which enabled us to go for our own high ground attack, destroying bottom lane completely, and leaving mid T3 at a sliver of HP.

The opponents engaged back, and took down almost every important building, save for the last barrack in the mid. ru Effect had to retreat, and we had some breathing room for a little bit. As we saw Juggernaut farming in the middle lane, we tried to engage him, but the counter-initiation from the Radiant was a good one, as they managed to find almost everyone, with the cores having no buyback. ua NAVI lose the first map.

The second game started with some kills here and there, as teams traded kills all over. 7 minutes in a small fight broke out in the middle lane, the majority of the cores had their ultimates; Bane was able to negate Sven during the ultimate, and the damage plus sustain on our side was not enough to last through. Early gamу advantage was on the side of ru Effect.

14 minutes in the situation was rather dire for ua NAVI, as we only had bottom T2 remaining. The Radiant went for the first Roshan of the game, and claimed it successfully. After a successful pickoff on Shadow Fiend, ru Effect went for the high ground siege, and we lost the bototm lane. The opponent retreated, giving us an opportunity to finish some crucial items - Black King Bars, Blink Daggers and the like. A few minutes later ru Effect went for another high ground push, and the bot T3 tower fell, yet the barracks remained intact, though not for long, as they fell during the next fight.

As the clock hit 26, ru Effect took down the second Roshan of the game. With the Aegis and the Cheese, the Radiant decided to go for the only lane remaining - top. Despite the disadvantage, we gave it our all, throwing everything we could. It was not enough, though, as the control and sustain on the side of ua NAVI was not enough to stop ru Effect - we lose the game 2 and leave the qualifiers.
