2:0 score, as we move to the semis!

The quarterfinals saw NAVI.GG.BET play against mousesports for the spot in the semifinals. The intense battle saw NAVI take the series 2:0, going to the semifinals!

Game 1 - Natus Vincere [1:0] mousesports

The first game started off rather well for Natus Vincere, as we’ve got a great opening into the round, scoring 4 points before mousesports managed to snatch one. However, we reset them right away in the next round. Still mousesports managed to claim one more point before NAVI went on a streak again. The T side managed to end our streak again, and the history repeated itself, as we’ve reset the economy once again. We eventually broke double digits, claiming 10:3. The first half ended with 12:3 on the board.

The second half started off with a very clutch round, as electronic was left in a 1v1 situation, ultimately managing to defend the bomb. The next round, though, was taken by mousesports in a similar clutch situation. Eventually, we hit the first match point at 15:4., with the first one denied by the opponent in a very intense round.

Next up, another 1v1 situation emerged, and Edward almost managed to take it, but did not manage to, as mousesports started the climb up, scoring 3 rounds in a row with 15:7 on the board. We had a hard time closing out the game - despite being 1 round away, it was very hard. The final round saw 1 opponent left against 4 our players, and the situation looked dire for a moment, as the player of mouz claimed 3 kills, but in the end, we take the first map 16:9.

Game 2 - Natus Vincere [2:0] mousesports

The game 2 started off with a couple of rounds going the way of the mouz before NAVI took a couple for themselves. The teams traded streaks, as both got 3 rounds, with the score becoming 5:5. Unfortunately, the streak did not help us break ahead, as eventually, mouz took 8 points in the half, but NAVI did not allow the opponent to amass the advantage - 7:8 was the score of the first half.

The second pistols were claimed by mouz, but we responded to that right away, eventually tying the score to 9:9, pulling off some incredible rounds. For the first time we broke ahead. mouz took 1 point, but their economy got reset in the next round, leaving them in a rather tough situation. NAVI hit another match point very soon, at 15:10, but the first couple got denied by the opponents. This comeback of mouz broke our economy, and we had to play very cautiously. Our best effort was not enough, as we go into the overtime.

The first overtime round was a rather slow and steady take by us, as we claimed 2 rounds, and 2 more to go. mouz seemed to be unable to find a good opening into the game in the first half. The second half, though, saw a point taken by the opponent, but that was it, as the last round saw only 1 opponent standing against 5 - NAVI.GG.BET is in the semifinals.
