S1mple breaks another record
S1mple keeps breaking world's records!
Having secured his second straight MVP award at DreamHack Masters Marseille and impressive numbers during the seventh season of ESL Pro League, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev went on to become the first player to score over 1.50 rating at three consecutive tournaments.
When looking at this statistic, HLTV.org have taken into consideration only high-profile events and players with over 5 maps played. It turns out, s1mple had an average rating of above 1.50 in his three most recent appearances – DreamHack Winter 2017 (1,52), ELEAGUE Boston Major (1,52), and DreamHack Masters Marseille (1,52).
In CS:GO history there have been only 13 instances of a player recording a 1.50 or higher rating at a notable LAN event with at least 5 maps played.

His closest pursuers are GeT_RiGhT and NiKo, who crossed this threshold twice each. Hopefully, Oleksandr will keep up the good work and set many more records!
