FACEIT Major: Format changes
Introducing the Buchholz system and bo3 deciders
The formats for the FACEIT Major New Challengers and New Legends stages have been revealed! The groups will be held under the Swiss system format, and the newly introduced seeding system will be used from Round 3 up. The draw will be based on the results the team scored in previous matches.
It has also been confirmed that the deciders for the teams with a 2-2 record will be played as bo3s. The Buchholz system will be used for seeding, where the teams gaining the same number of points are compared performance-wise.

The same system will be used to draw playoff brackets, in order to prevent cases where the semifinal matchups are unequally challenging.

The main stage will take place on September 12-16, with NAVI.GG.BET in attendance. Top 8 teams will qualify for the playoffs, which will take place on September 20-23 in front of a live crowd at SSE Arena.
