What do NAVI Dota 2 players do?
What do NAVI players do?
Many Dota 2 fans are probably eager to know what NAVI.GG.BET players have been doing this summer. You are wrong if you think they've been sitting idle, as each member of the team has been actively practicing and some have even been participating in official matches. We'll be telling you more about their recent activities in our today's article.
Vladislav "Crystallize" Krystanek
Our carry has been performing in the Akatsuki roster this past month. The guys were able to become the winners of Dota 2 Summer Cup, defeating some pretty strong teams during their run.
Viktor "GeneRaL" Nigrini
The Akatsuki lineup also welcomed GeneRaL aboard, who moved back to playing the mid position, the one he played at the beginning of his professional career. The Dota 2 Summer Cup victory showed that Viktor is still very decent on it skills-wise and is fully capable of playing mid even after playing so many games as a hardliner.

It's worth noting that Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev, the former member of Born to Win, has been lately performing together with Crystallize and GeneRaL. However, the future of the Akatsuki lineup is somewhat vague, as GeneRaL was also spotted playing for Team Panda.
Danil "Dendi" Ishutin
A month ago, the whole community was shaken by the news of Dendi standing in for Vega Squadron. Several news portals were swift to react by reporting that Dendi left the ranks of NAVI and started looking closely at how he would perform on the new team.
Danil was forced to react to it on his Twitter page, dismissing all rumors and saying that he was simply standing in for Vega to help his good friends. Overall, Dendi played a total of 17 maps for Vega this summer, winning 10 of them against teams of different skill levels.
i am just standin. Helping friends out. I am not officially playing for a different team. Stop spreading false information to get some free hype around. I played as standin for some other teams before. That's pretty normal thing
— Danil Ishutin (@DendiBoss)
He wasn't noticed playing professionally in any of the recent matches, but judging from his regular streams on Twitch he is still actively playing Dota 2.
Fedor "velheor" Rusikhin
Our support was seen playing for three different lineups this summer. He first joined SoNNeikO and afk 20 min les, which made some noise in TI2018 qualifiers. Fedor wasn't able to achieve his fullest potential in this roster – after two wins and two losses, the team got eliminated from BTS Summer Cup, the only tournament where it participated.
He then stood in for different teams twice, once for Crystallize's Akatsuki and also for Team Empire. Despite coming out the winners both times, velheor didn't stay in any of the teams.
Ilya "Lil" Ilyuk
Lil wasn't spotted playing any official matches but proved to be practicing in other ways. He's been regularly streaming on Twitch with the goal of getting into the top 100 by solo ranked MMR.
Now, Lil has another interesting challenge at hand, as he'll be covering The International 2018 as part of the Russian broadcast team. Ilya will be joining the desk as an analyst, the job he's already done before and was quite successful at.
Lil also decided to launch his own interesting project, where he analyzes official matches. The main selection criterion is the presence of one of his signature heroes, Visage.
Oleksandr "XBOCT" Dashkevych
XBOCT also received a Vancouver invite as an analyst. His excellent understanding of the game, demonstrated numerous times when visiting coverage studios as a guest, led to him earning his own TI2018 invite.
Oleksandr has also been posting a great number of pictures on his , so consider following him there if you haven't already!
