DreamHack Masters Stockholm 2018

We're in for this season's first major, DreamHack Masters Stockholm, which will be held from August 29 through September 2. 16 contenders will converge to Stockholm to fight for their share of a $ 250,000 prize pool.

The tournament will be held in two phases: a group stage and the playoffs. The first phase will use the GSL system, and only 8 teams will advance further. The openers will be bo1s, and the remaining games will be bo3s.

The playoffs will use a classic single-elimination bracket, with bo3 all the way. ESL One Cologne 2018 is part of the Intel Grand Slam, a side event offering a prize of $ 1,000,000 to a team scoring four wins in ESL and DreamHack Masters events.

GROUP STAGE

- bo1 openers, bo3 format all throughout; - two best teams of
each group advance to the playoffs;- two bottom teams of each group get eliminated;
- the rest of the teams move to the playoffs lower bracket.
