StarSeries & i-League S2: Preview
Details of the upcoming event
NAVI.GG.BET's PUBG lineup will round out the summer season in Kyiv, as we are set to attend StarSeries & i-League S2. Check out our preview below for more information about the event!
Background
As all our fans know, we have a very special history with a StarLadder tournament series, as our CS:GO and Dota 2 lineups are very frequent guests here. The ball is now in the court of our PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds players, as they have been invited to the StarSeries & i-League Season 2 group stage.
Although this is going to be the second iteration of the series, the boys will be making a debut appearance on stage. Sviatoslav "Drainys" Komissarov is the only player who attended StarSeries & i-League Season 1 in May 2018, where he defended the colors of AVANGAR and secured the sixth place finish in the final standings. It's time to improve on this result!
Details
Since its launch, the event has seen several format changes introduced. The venue, however, remains the same – the world's best players will traditionally converge to Kiev Cybersport Arena. Unfortunately, the fans won't be allowed inside the arena this time, but all the action will be broadcast online, including match commentating, analytics and post-match interviews.

StarSeries & i-League Season 2 will be held from August 25 to September 2 and feature two stages. NAVI will be starting their run in the group stage with fifteen more teams. After 20 battles, 10 on Miramar and Erangel, the strongest 8 squads will be determined. The will advance further to join the teams invited to the main event and continue fighting for $ 100,000.
List of the participants
The second season of StarSeries & i-League will definitely be a delight to watch, bringing together well-known squads from CIS, Europe and the US and the representatives of China, Korea, Southeast Asia and Oceania. Although there's little we know about the teams from the East, the recent major showed that they are more than capable of springing surprises and putting up amazing fights.
Looking at the list of group stage participants, there's no doubt the competition will be fierce. Pittsburgh Knights are one of the main favorites, as they took second place in Global Loot League Season 2 and placed 5th-8th at PGI 2018. They performed well in both the first-person perspective and the third-person perspective modes, solidifying its status as the tear-1 team.
Another formidable opponent will be Welcome to South Georgo. The Europeans made their first impressive appearance in Berlin where they took bronze twice. M19, whose passive playstyle proved extremely viable in GLL Season 2, will also be entering the fight. Finally, we'll see Ghost Gaming and OpTic Gaming join the fray, who both have talented players on their rosters. Therefore, our boys will have to keep their maximum concentration throughout the group stage.
The top 8 teams of StarSeries & i-League S1 will be waiting for the qualified teams in the next round. With such teams as AVANGAR, Team Liquid, FaZe Clan, Tempo Storm and Cloud9 in attendance, the concluding stage will see an even tougher competition with $ 100,000 at stake.
