NAVI drafted an experimental lineup, as we went for Razor as a carry, Omniknight for the hard lane and Elder Titan as the fourth position support. Virtus.pro, on the other hand, picked Luna, Death Prophet and an aggressive support trio, including Sand King, Nyx Assassin and Winter Wyvern.
Virtus.pro were able to show how potent their fight potential was quite early on in the game, as they got into a fight near the bounty rune to claim themselves the first blood. With radiant supports roaming around the map actively, more fights followed and Natus Vincere were drawn into a very unfavorable position.
Despite falling behind significantly, our boys were handling the pressure well and went on to take a good fight in their jungle. Afterwards, they defended the Tier 2 tower and sniped Virtus.pro’s courier. At minute 15, we took out two enemy heroes and got solid gold from it, with our next attack also resulting in three kills in our favor.
NAVI made a good use of the momentum gained, getting the aegis for Dendi and moving to the enemy jungle. There, they faced fierce resistance and fell to the enemy team, which forced the pace of the game to slow down as both teams were waiting for Roshan. Virtus.pro took a lead by killing two of our heroes, but our boys went for a risk starting a fight at a disadvantage, and managed to secure aegis and cheese as the reward for their courage.
Then, NAVI were able to take down the enemy’s mid hero, while losing two supports in return, which initiated the push attempt from the opposite team. With Death Prophet’s ultimate, Virtus.pro managed to destroy our central barracks, while a well-timed Winter's Curse enabled them to win another fight and destroy the second lane of barracks. As Virtus.pro marched into our base for the third time, GG was called, giving them win in the series.
