The first game started off quite evenly for both teams - MagicaL was doing well in the midlane, and the opponent wasn't faring too shabby either. Some kills were traded between both teams, but NAVI were getting the better trades. Even if Alchemist was not doing too well later in the laning phase, he had the stacks in the jungle to fall back on, and that was exactly what he did. NAVI acquired a slight lead and avoided unwanted confrontations, buying the time for Alchemist to come online.
19 minutes in teams went for a full-blown fight - 4 heroes dead on the side of Empire. Alchemist kept snowballing absolutely out of control - he was almost twice the net worth of the closest Empire hero. The fight in the middle lane had the Empire crumble, and we retreated. A little later, the opponent went for the Roshan - NAVI were unable to contest, but the tempo of the game remained unchanged, as the Aegis got denied. Both teams went to farm up more.
Tiny and Treant Protector ganked Empire in the top lane, and Alchemist + Global Silence sealed the deal. We secured the advantage and were reluctant to let it go. Our team decided to for the decisive push, and took the T2 in mid and moved towards the T3 in mid, with almost nobody to defend it. A little later, as we were finishing off Bristleback, Empire GG-ed out of the game, as we move to the second game.

The second game did not start well for the middle lane, as TA was 1v2 against Juggernaut and Lich. Top lane, though was working well for us, as the lone Dragon Knight wasn't faring too well. Bottom lane was going quite well too, even if Phantom Lancer had to 1v2 sometimes as well. MagicaL had to retreat in the jungle, as he was severely underleveled. Overall, the situation was favoring Team Empire, as we weren't finding a lot of kills early on, but still, we weren't falling far behind.
Empire largely focused on making TA's life as difficult as possible; yet a little later, Juggernaut, who was a top-1 net worth, overextended a bit, and got killed. A little later, smoke gank by Empire failed, while Juggernaut overextended yet again. Our Templar Assassin was slowly catching up, getting top top-3 by 20 minutes. The game was still equal, but became more volatile; 22 minutes in, NAVI went for the first Roshan of the game, and Empire didn't do much too contest - Aegis for MagicaL.
NAVI were growing aggressive around the map, hitting the bottom T3 a bit, but not quite taking it down. Empire went for a fight in the top lane - Juggernaut was killed off very fast, so he had to buyback; TA died in return. We retreated and regrouped - Centaur Warrunner got initiated upon, but nothing came out of it - 4 heroes dead on the side of Empire. NAVI rushed to the enemy base right away, taking down 2 lanes. 36 minutes in NAVI went for the Roshan, and Empire decided to engage - 4 heroes dead again, and not even the good Echo Slam salvage it.
With the Aegis in hand, NAVI went for the decisive fight - top lane T2 fell very fast. Empire was greatly discouraged by the Aegis, and didn't want to engage straight away. However, as the T3 was falling, there was no other choice but to commit. Echo Slam was committed, and the Aegis was used up. The fight broke out, and the majority of Empire heroes fell - Empire didn't strike back, as we take the series 2:0.
