The Bucharest Minor — second Minor of the season

PGL will hold the second Minor of the Dota Pro Circuit 2018/2019 season. The tournament called The Bucharest Minor will be held from January 9 to 13th, 2019.

At the competition, in addition to the prize fund of $300,000,500 Pro Circuit points will be available up for grabs which are required for qualifying to The International 2019. The winner will also get a special ticket for the second Major of the season.

Among the participants of The Bucharest Minor are eight teams from different parts of the world: two representative teams from Europe and China and one representative from each of the following regions: North America, South America, Southeast Asia, and the CIS. Regional qualifications will take place December 1–5th. The details of qualifiers yet to be revealed by tournament organizers.

Note that PGL is also one of the organizers of the first Major tournament of the season – The Kuala Lumpur Major. Last season the following championships were held under the auspices of the company: PGL Open Bucharest, The Bucharest Major, Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018 and China Dota2 Supermajor.
