Dota 2 / News / 28 October 2018 — 22:00

The opponents of NAVI at the main event

From October 29 to November 4, the first Minor tournament of the season 2018/2019 will be held. ua NAVI is among the participants as well. We decided to take a look at all the contenders for the title, the teams ua Natus Vincere will have to fight.

First, let's take a look at group A, which features, alongside the "yellow-black", eu Team Lithium, us compLexity Gaming, and pe Infamous. Let's take a look at each opponent of our team in the fight to win the championship.

Let's start with eu Team Lithium, since this is the only opponent we have already encountered so far. The meeting took place during a tournament by Maincast - Autumn Brawl. Then our team dealt with the European mix, however, this time it will include a very important sub, attracting a lot of attention to the fight. eu Team Lithium is going to feature ua Danil "Dendi" Ishutin as a stand-in, hence this game may attract tens of thousands if viewers.

Talking about the fighting shape of the team, it is hard to say some definite. DreamLeague Season 10 was supposed to have eu Team Liquid, yet as the team chose not to attend the event, the organizers made a replacement. In addition, eu Team Lithium has no special achievements in this season, although in terms of the individual level, each of its participants is remarkable. At the same time, it is not known how the substitution will affect the team: it can be a boon or an impediment.

Another contender in Group A is the uscompLexity Gaming - a representative of North America. This team renewed its lineup at the beginning of the season, inviting ca Jackie "EternaLEnVy" Mao to play support. The team managed to pass the qualifiers for ESL One Hamburg 2018 and DreamLeague Season 10, but has not yet shown any significant results. Perhaps it is this Minor that will show this team from a new side.

The last member of the group A is a team coming from Peru - pe Infamous. This organization has significantly changed its composition at the start of the season, but already had to use a stand-in due to personal problems of one of the players. In Sweden, the team will play with one standin, and so far it is not particularly clear in what condition the team will be at the tournament.

As for the individual level of the players, pe Enzo "Timado" Gianoli is one of the brightest stars here, a talented carry, who managed to play in several stacks during the past season, but in the end, came back to Peru. The rest of the team members are not so well known, but they are still not someone to be dismissed lightly.

We turn to group B, where the most dangerous team is probably the Eastern scene representative - cn Royal Never Give Up. At the start of the season, an eminent organization entered a new battlefield, signing a contract with a team of Chinese and Malaysian players. Despite the fairly well-known names on the team, there is no proper result yet: the squad failed three qualifications out of four, although they made it to DreamLeague Season 10. However, this should not be surprising: the competition in China is now enormous.

Another really dangerous team is se The Final Tribe. This season it has already managed to play rather well in several championships, although the squad has not achieved significant results. As for the composition of the team, it is exclusively Swedish and you can find famous names in it: se Adrian “Era” Kreziu, and se Rasmus “Chessie” Blomdin

You also need to pay attention to the team my Tigers, which got rid of "TNC" part in its name for the time being. The team ran by ca Sivatheeban "1437" Sivanathapillai started off well, showing satisfactory results in the qualifiers. In addition, the team has already scored a victory at Southeast Asia Cyber Arena 2018, and although the rivals were not the strongest ones, but still, the triumph can give the necessary moral boost to the team. Notably, my Tigers feature a winner of several Majors from back before the current system - ca David "MoonMeander" Tan; in other words, "tigers" live up to their name and are very dangerous.

The last but not the least - team us ROOONS. The American-Canadian mix, frankly speaking, can be called an outsider: it performed not too well throughout all championships of this season, and won a ticket to Sweden due to a fairly mild competition of the region. However, this contender is not an easy opponent: it has a solid roster, at least locally, and the players are able to pull some tricks from their sleeves.

As a reminder, DreamLeague Season 10 will be held from October 29 to November 4 in the capital of Sweden. Eight teams will compete in Stockholm, not only for their shares of $ 300 000 and 500 qualification points needed to make it to The International 2019, but also for a slot at The Kuala Lumpur Major. Join the broadcasts and cheer for ua Natus Vincere, as we embark on the first truly serious test of strength! #NAVINATION
