On November 19, Valve released a global 7.20 patch for Dota 2. The update has seriously affected all aspects of the game — the economy, heroes, the map itself. Many heroes were greatly buffed, and quite a few got abilities reworked.
The meta, as expected, has changed rather heavily, so in this article, together with 
Crystallize, we will try to track down the most significant carry changes.
— What are the biggest changes of the patch, in your opinion?
- — I will highlight three points: Slark buff, hex being dispellable and a separate slot for TP.
— Thoughts on creep deny gold?
- — Personally, I do not like it. Additional experience for denies forced you to try harder, and denies would often allow to have a decent lane.
— In the last interview that you want Aquila nerf. In patch 7.20, it was completely removed from the game. Do you feel satisfied?
- — No, now it has become difficult to push at the early stage of the game. It makes no sense to buy the Ring of Basilius, because it takes up a slot, but it gives very little.

— On the pro scene, this hero was actively used only at the last major tournament. I do not think that it is too strong, and this change added a certain zest to the hero. I like it.
— Slark — is he buffed enough to come back into the meta?
— I believed IceFrog would buff the hero almost to the point of being imba, so I started practicing him in advance!
