The first game started off quite bad for NAVI.
Team Empire.Hope had a very good start in the lane. Enemy Phantom Assassin had a very good lane, as she got quite a lot of farm — our Kunkka was also doing decent, though.
Team Empire.Hope had a very good killing potential early on, and they put it to a good use - they got a lot of kills, which was not too good for us. However, by 14 minutes,
NAVI started to come back online into the game - a couple of pickoffs first, and a fight in the Dire jungle a little later allowed us to take the first Roshan of the game and swing the advantage in their favor.
NAVI finally decided to take a stab at the enemy high ground — there wasn't much resistance coming from
Team Empire.Hope, as the mid T3 tower fell;
Team Empire.Hope got a deny on it. A little later, Phantom Assassin found our Sand King in the jungle, and the skirmish turned into a full-fledged teamfight, which went badly for us — a teamwipe. The advantage on the side of the Dire wasn't so overwhelming, and fights continued - as
Team Empire.Hope went for a smoke play, they found 2 heroes and managed to get the second Roshan off of that.
Team Empire.Hope decided to go for their own high ground siege —
NAVI returned to base straight away; despite losing the T3 in the bottom lane, we were able to stop the opponent from taking the barracks, and killing 3 heroes was a cherry on top. The game was far from secured, though, as fights continued to unravel everywhere. The decisive fight broke out in our mid —
Blizzy engaged Phantom Assassin with the Epicenter, but enemy Magnus RPed 2 critical heroes who had no buyback - with their death, the game was lost.

The second game saw Invoker-Brewmaster mid matchup which wasn't working very well for NAVI — the opponent managed to score a solo kill diving under T1. Top lane wasn't going stellar either — Anti-Mage was freely farming, and our offlane wasn't able to really stop him. Still, the bottom lane hero, Phantom Lancer, was getting his creeps. Despite a somewhat rough early game, as levels started coming in,
NAVI went on the offensive around the map, equalizing the scores.
Blink Dagger on Brewmaster wasn't really put to good use, as NAVI found a few heroes, and followed that up with a tower. 18 minutes in,
NAVI tired to fight the opponent near their Shrine, and that fight wasn't very good one for us at all — we lost all the heroes who took part (Invoker was farming the other side of the map), but since
Team Empire.Hope had to use all their big ultimates, we took a very easy Roshan afterward. The aggressive Dota continued, and
NAVI didn't seem to be quite ready for that — Anti-Mage was becoming a force to be reckoned with.
26 minutes in, a fight broke out again — NAVI only got 1 support kill; a little later, though,
Team Empire.Hope's Anti-Mage managed to find 4 kills straight away;
NAVI responded with a smoke, and found 3 kills, 2 being core. That was a decent fight for us, and we waited for our heroes to respawn before trying to take Roshan. We didn't have enough time to finish it, though, as
Team Empire.Hope came around and contested successfully — Aegis for the enemy carry.
The Dire went for the high ground push and managed to take down the T3 tower successfully, but paid for it quite dearly. Unfortunately, a couple of fights a little later sealed the deal for NAVI, as we had no buybacks left on our heroes to defend - we end the run at The Chongqing Major qualifier.
