CS:GO update: a new game mode
A CS:GO Battle Royale
Valve has released a CS:GO patch, which introduced a new game mode — Danger Zone, which is the battle royal for 16 (in single player mode) or 18 (for a squad of two or three) players.
In addition, the game became cost-free for offline mode and games against bots. To get free Prime Status, you need to reach level 21 and bind a mobile phone number to Steam Guard. If you want to access the prime immediately, you will have to pay $14.99. You can see the rest of the changes below.
[DANGER ZONE]
— Danger Zone is now available — the battle royal mode, which is built on the tactical component of CS:GO.
— Danger Zone can be played solo or you can team up in a squad of two or three players
— Weapon damage in Danger Zone is the same as in other CS:GO modes. But the players of the battle royal have the opportunity to increase the health up to 120%.
[FREE—TO—PLAY]
— Now CS:GO is free, but only partially. To get free Prime Status, you need to reach level 21 and bind a mobile phone number to Steam Guard. If you want to access the prime right away, you need to pay $14.99.
— All players who played CS:GO before today’s update will receive a commemorative Loyalty Badge they can display on their profile.
— All existing CS:GO players have had their accounts upgraded to Prime Status. As before, Prime Status matches you with other Prime Status players.
— Additionally, your Prime Status will give you access to the new Souvenir MP5-SD | Lab Rats (available by earning XP while playing Danger Zone matches) and the all new Danger Zone Case.
[DANGER ZONE CASE]
— The Danger Zone Case features 17 community-designed weapon finishes, and the Horizon knives as rare special items.
