Dear fans, we are pleased to announce that Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev topped the. The main struggle for the title of the best player on the planet unfolded between s1mple and device, but our player emerged victorious from this battle!

In 2018,  s1mple had the highest rating (1.33), scored the most frags (3866), had the highest number of frags per round (0.87) and had the most rounds with one or more frags (55.4%). In addition, Sasha ranked first in the number of opening frags (637), ranked second in the number of clutches (80), KAST (75.9%) and with an average damage per round (87.4).

Last year, Sasha managed to set several new records: he won the MVP in two championships in a row without his team winning, and became the first to achieve + 1000 K-D difference in a year (later this figure stopped at + 1232). In total, s1mple was awarded six MVPs: at StarSeries S4, DreamHack Masters Marseille, StarSeries S5, CS: GO Asia Championships 2018, ESL One Cologne 2018 and BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2018.

Recall that s1mple ranked fourth in 2016 and eighth line in 2017. In the same year, Sasha managed to add more and finish the season with a fantastic performance. A well-deserved reward was not long in coming — Sasha is the best player of 2018!
