BatulinS and Recrent — the champions of the sixth season of GLL Wingman
After of the duo tournament GLL Wingman 
Aleksandr “BatulinS”, Batulin gave an extended comment for our site, in which he shared his impressions of the past championship, and also told what he thought about the winter map Vikendi. Recall that Aleksandr "BatulinS" Batulin and Dmitry "Recrent" Osintsev became two-time champions of GLL Wingman.

About the GLL Wingman Tournament
“GLL tournaments are always the most successful for the CIS teams. For example, NAVI, M19 and Team Unique won alternately LANs in Romania and Sweden, and Dima and I won twice in a row in Wingman. Duo format just excellently fits our play style, and we understand what is required to win. In fact, I have to say that in terms of tactics and movement, I use prepared plans that worked even in squad tournaments six months ago».
About Vikendi
“Honestly, I have played less than 10 games on Vikendi over the past 2 months simply because there is nothing to do there. I know the map very badly and so on. But due to the fact that the map is new, many teams do not know at all how to play on it, and this played into our hands because we can adapt to uncomfortable circumstances and pull out the victory from the worst positions. The final 2 maps of Vikendi showed it. Just take a look at the last Wingman, which was played Sanhok, or OSL Invitational on the new settings and with the new scoring system.
About rivals
“Of course, I just got to highlight our second duet POKAMOLODOY and Sadovnik. First of all, they were very good in the qualifications, and in the final everything could have turned around if on the 5th map I came running to that life-saving booth a few seconds later .. The guys are great, and I was pleased with their results. ”
About victory
“Before the last map, we understood that we got this one. We didn’t want to hurry anywhere and just played for the highest result. And of course, we hoped that our guys would be able to pick up the top 2. Missed it by a tiny bit
Glad to be the double champion of the tournament. Prior to this nobody has done it and we manage to do it. And I can honestly say that successful performance is not only in your gaming experience, skill, and understanding of the game but, most importantly, in your approach to the matter. There were days when we had bad health, when we flew out in the middle of a match, but we still fought to the last! ”
About the next season
“I am afraid that the next season of Wingman will pass without us since NAVI is the PEL team and we are not allowed to play any tournaments except the European League. But let's hope that everything will be cool! ”
