Tug of War: Radiant: possible adversaries of NAVI.GG.BET

The first match with NAVI.GG.BET is scheduled for February 27, starts at 16:00 CET.

On February 27, at 16:00 CET,  NAVI.GG.BET will start their performance at the WePlay tournament! Dota 2 Tug of War: Radiant. The possible yellow-black rivals are  Team Empire and The Pango, those two will meet in the first round of the bracket. In this article, we will take a closer look at these potential opponents of  Natus Vincere.

Recall that our guys will start their performance from the quarterfinal stage, so the first opponent is unknown before the result of the first round matches.

On January 15, the organization  Team Empire returned to a single lineup, removing Faith and Hope from the team. From that moment, the honor of Empire is held by  Kyyalbek “dream'” Tairov, Konstantin “Kodos” Kogai, Igor “Maden” Modenov, Oleg “Sayuw” Kalenbet and Vladislav “BLACKARXANGEL” Ivaschenko. Zaur "Cooman" Shakhmurzayev is listed as a reserve.

These changes have not yet produced any serious results. So, in the asset of  Team Empire, the third place in the closed qualification of StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor: two attempts to earn a slot at this tournament ended in defeat with a score of 1 : 2 in matches against Gambit Esports and Old But Gold.

Performance at WePlay! Dota 2 Valentine Madness, Empire is also unlikely to put into their asset: although they won Winstrike Team and The ReaL DeaL but they lost to  Ninjas in Pajamas in the upper bracket and The Pango — in the lower, after which they left the championship, ending up in 7–8th place. One may also mention the defeat in the show match versus Elements Pro Gaming, but that fight should not be taken seriously, as the match has been played in the Turbo mode.

If we talk about the state of  Team Empire in general, then this is quite a serious team, which currently lacks certain success to believe in themselves. Such a boost of confidence could have given them the qualifications on StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor, but Empire was not able to seize the slot. Nevertheless, the preparation is necessary, because our guys have not yet played against their line-up.

As for The Pango, this team is well known to the players of  Natus Vincere. In just one season, 2018/2019, the teams have met each other five times: three of them the winners were yellow-black and two the Pango. And during the qualification of DreamLeague Season 11, our guys played against The Pango twice: the enemy turned out to be stronger in the group but in the playoffs, NAVI knocked out the them from the competition.

These meetings turned out to be equal and ended with the score: 2 : 1 with the victory of one and the other team, respectively. However, the results of past matches do not matter much for the reason that at the tournament WePlay! Dota 2 Valentine Madness  The Pango played with a substitute: Alexander “Ceyler” Popov's place was taken by the previously mentioned Cooman. The style of the Pango has changed noticeably due to this change, but it is unknown whether this player will play for The Pango in the upcoming championship.

The rest of the team remained unchanged: Aibek “Naive-” Tokayev,  Andrei “Ghostik” Kadik,   Bakyt “Zayac” Emilzhanov andSemyon “CemaTheSlayer” Krivul are well-known to fans. A serious team, where the important role of the so-called playmaker is given to the support on the fourth position. However, our guys know about this fact and will surely be well prepared for the opponent.
