IEM Katowice Major: victory over FaZe Clan
A beautiful show of CS!
NAVI.GG.BET started the playoffs with a series against 
FaZe Clan. The first game saw NAVI pull off an incredible comeback, while the second was our show all along - 2:0!
Inferno — Natus Vincere [16:13] FaZe Clan
The first half started with NAVI taking the pistol round, and 
flamie did so with an ace. The second round followed the suit, but then, something in the game went very wrong. FaZe Clan went on a huge 8-round streak, and NAVI couldn't do anything to stop them for a while. As the half was drawing to a close, we managed to take first one round, though it got reset right after, then 2 more, making the score more manageable. The half ended with 5:10 on the board.
The second half saw yet another ace from flamie. This allowed NAVI to be more aggressive in the next round, and we almost closed the gap completely — 9:10. However, for now, the tie eluded us, as FaZe Clan managed to take 2 rounds. Still, we caught our wind, ending the streak of FaZe Clan and finally breaking ahead at 14:12. FaZe bought up for the round, and found important kills, which set us back — Edward had to save the AWP. Round 29 ended with a 2v2 retake — NAVI reset the opponent, and got the map point. The final round of the half had 1 CT standing against 4 — a confident conclusion of the game 1!

Natus VincereMirage — Natus Vincere [16:7] FaZe Clan
The pistol round went the way of FaZe Clan, as they won with 3 men standing at 100 HP. They capitalized on it, taking another round, while NAVI eco-ed for 2 rounds. This strategy paid off — s1mple managed to plant the bomb and kill the CT who was trying to contest, also taking the AWP away, forcing the opponent to eco. The next round had NAVI in a 5v1 situation, which concluded in us tying the game for now. After 4 rounds straight for us, FaZe managed to take 2 rounds, but a plant and successful defense in 1 round, with Zeus showing off his AWP skills, set FaZe right back to the economic bottom.
AdreN managed to score 3 kills post-plant, which was an inconvenience, but not a serious one. Still, the next round had the 3v3 bomb plant, and this time around, the opponents managed to steal the round away, but only for a moment — they lost all players in the subsequent one. The half ended in a 1v1, as s1mple was pitted against 
GuardiaN — 9:6. The second pistol went the way of FaZe Clan, but that only stopped us for a second, as we claimed the 10th point straight away. This set up the foundation for a good streak — we got to the match point without a single hiccup, and cruised through it for a swift 2:0!
