Fortnite World Cup: qualification details
Qualifications begin April 13th
The developer company Fortnite has published details of qualifications for the World Cup with a prize fund of $ 30,000,000. Competitions will be held in three stages and will be divided into solos and duos.
Each week, solo and duo modes will alternate: the first battles for solos will start on April 13th. Players will hold matches for ten weeks.
In total, 95 players will play in solo mode, 49 duets will compete in duos. Every week $ 1 000 000 will be played out. To reach the final, participants will have to go through three stages.
Arena mode
This mod will be available on any day of the week with the addition of patch 8.20. Players will have to compete with each other for points, to get into the champions league and advance to the second qualifying stage.
Saturday's online tournaments
In the second qualifying stage, the best players who have passed through the arena mode will be taking part in it. Each Saturday they will have three hours to spend on ten battles and score important points. As time runs out, the 3000 best players from each region will enter the final online tournament.
Sunday online tournaments
At this stage, all points that were scored in the second round will be reset. Players will again be given three hours to play ten matches and score as many points as possible. After checking the results, participants with the best performance will receive a special notification about the won cash prizes, as well as an invitation to the Fortnite World Cup.
