MagicaL and Crystallize — best Aghanim's Scepter upgrades
New Aghanim upgrades in patch 7.22
Idan “MagicaL” Vardanian and Vladislav “Crystallize” Krystanek shared their opinion on the latest Aghanim's Scepter upgrades, which were released in patch 7.22.
Dragon Knight (Adds the 4th level to Elder Dragon Form. Black Dragon has 50% more Corrosive Damage, Splash Damage and Slow amount. It also increases your attack range to 600 and grants you +30% Magic Resistance.):
- Very cool upgrade. Pick it up as 4-5th slot. If the game has a lot of heroes with magical damage, then even earlier. I rate it 8-9 out of 10.
Templar Assassin (Grants you a new ability, Psionic Projection. Allows you to teleport to any Psionic Trap):
- The hero needs to collect a few items before building Aghanim, but the effect itself looks cool. 10 out of 10, pick it up as the 3rd or 4th slot.
Ember Spirit (Fire Remnant cast range is 3 times longer and the initial remnant movement speed is 2 times faster. Maximum number of charges increased from 3 to 5. Activate Fire Remnant costs no mana.):
- An incredibly cool effect, we will often see this item on the hero. 10 of 10 Pick it up like in the 3rd slot, after the basic items for the damage.
Death Prophet (Anytime an enemy is affected by your spells (crypt swarm impact, silence debuff, spirit siphon target) or when you attack an enemy, a ghost will fly out and hit the enemy for double the usual damage then return to you with life.):
- One of the coolest Aghanim, in my opinion. 10 of 10 You can build it as one of the first items, perhaps even the first item.
Arc Warden (Grants a new ability, Rune Forge. Creates a random Rune in front of you. Cooldown 60. The selection of Runes include Bounty Runes and Powerup Runes.):
- It is difficult to say. Recently, I rarely played this hero. But I doubt that the Aghanim will be in demand for him.
Broodmother (Increases Spin Web max count from 8 to 20, movement speed bonus from 70 to 100%, and removes movement speed limit.):
- Aghanim worth building on some occasions. If you play through spiders, you can buy it after dominator and pipe, if you are playing via physical damage, then there are more important items. All this needs to be tested, I have not played many pubs yet. I give this Aghanim an 8.
Terrorblade (After casting Metamorphosis, a wave travels outwards in all direction causing enemy heroes to become feared for 3 seconds upon impact.):
- 2 of 10 - only as the 7th slot. Usually, you use Metamorphosis at the start of a fight and at most one person can get Feared.
Clinkz (Creates two skeletons near Clinkz when exiting Skeleton Walk. Increases Skeleton Walk speed by +30% and unlocks max movement speed.):
- 7 out of 10 - it sounds cool, have to try it out. DPS increase and the movement speed, however, I do not know what kind of skeletons. If it's just like his ultimate then it's cool.
Morphling (While Morphed, you gain +35% cooldown reduction, +50% manacost reduction and +600 cast range.):
- 5 out of 10 - a few heroes with whom it will be useful. In your normal form, you will do a lot more impact, but if you come up with combinations, then I think it can be nice.
Monkey King (Spawns a monkey soldier near you every 3.5 seconds.):
- They only deal damage if there is very long disable, or when you are running away and the enemy is chasing you. And I do not see much point in building it.
Lycan (Causes one of the three creep waves to include two wolves. You cannot control the wolves, but they are considered your units. These wolves have the same movement speed as lane creeps.):
- 0 out of 10 - 2 creeps for 4200 gold (laughs).
Troll Warlord (Reduces Battle Trance cooldown to 35 seconds and allows it to be cast on allied or enemy heroes. Lasts half duration on enemies. Cast Range 525.):
- I do not know when it will be useful to throw an ult against an enemy or on an ally, but 2 points for the cd :)
