The essentials of GLL Grand Slam

From July 19 to 21, the GLL Grand Slam: PUBG Classic will be held, in which NAVI.GG.BET will take part. All information about this tournament we have collected in our material.

Sixteen teams from Europe, Oceania, North and Latin America will test their abilities at the off-season tournament — GLL Grand Slam. Competitions will be held in the capital of Sweden, Stockholm, within the walls of the largest exhibition center Stockholmsmassan.

The teams that will fight in the GLL, were determined by the end of the second phases of the Leagues in their regions. and NPL Phase 2 participants were allocated five slots each, while the Latin American League Phase 2 and Oceanic League Phase 2 were allocated three each.

It is worth noting that the region whose team wins the GLL Grand Slam: PUBG Classic will receive an additional slot at the PUBG Global Championship 2019, which will be held at the end of the year after all PEL phases and off-season tournaments.

All games will be played in Squads FPP mode. The prize fund of the tournament is $ 300,000. On each game day, there will be six matches. Competitions will start on July 19 at 16:00 CEST.

You have been in Sweden for several days. Everything okay: hotel, food, organization?

In general, everything is adequate. The hotel is beautiful, arena is within the walking distance. We already saw the stage, it is impressive. In terms of organization, certain overlays occur, but GLL, they try to assist you in resolving them as quickly as possible. The weather's not good — it is cloudy and cool, but it’s comfortable to play. A year ago there was an abnormal heat.

What is the atmosphere within the team? Did the guys have time to rest after the eight-week marathon of the PUBG Europe League?

I think that after such a marathon the rest should be much longer :) But the atmosphere is excellent, everyone is ready and charged for a high result.

You are the only team representing the CIS in this championship. Is there a burden of responsibility?

If there is, it does not pressure us, it is rather an additional motivation. In general, if it was not even a GLL tournament, our team would still fight for the first place.

There are a lot of all sorts of fan stuff — two T-shirts, a towel, a cap, a pillow for flights and a sleeping mask ... All with company logos PUBG and GLL. I really liked the stickers, it's time to update the cover of the laptop;)

Can we expect the broadcast on caffeine.tv? We are sure, fans can not wait to find out what the atmosphere prevails at the tournament, and see Sweden in real-time.
