StarLadder Berlin Major 2019

CS:GO / News / 2 years ago

From August 23rd to September 8th, the second major of the year - StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 - will take place. The competition will be hosted by Berlin and 24 teams will play for the prize pool of $ 1,000,000.

The venue for the group stage will be Verti Music Hall, and during the playoffs, teams will move to the Mercedes-Benz Arena, accommodating up to 17,000 spectators.

The tournament will be held in two phases: a group stage and the playoffs. At the first stage of the competition, as in the previous Majors, we will see the Swiss system in action, but with some adjustments: decisive fights (games between teams with 2–0, 2–1, 2–2, 1–2, 0–2 ) instead of the best of 1 will last up to two victories.

As for the playoffs, we have a classic bracket of single-elimination, best of 3. We are confident that by the time the Starladder Berlin Major 2019 starts our guys will have time to get into the best shape and achieve a positive result in the tournament! #NAVINATION
