TI9 group stage: Day 2 recap

Day 2 ends with 2 wins and 1 draw for Natus Vincere!

The longest day of the group stage for  NAVI.GG.BET at The International 2019 is over. Our team played in three series today, without giving away any of them.

of the "yellow-blacks" was the only representative of South America in Shanghai —  Infamous. The team, considered by many viewers and analysts to be the weakest in the group, however, they proved that this is not the case at all, showing an incredible will to win in the first game of the series. The Peruvians managed to comeback from approximately 30k gold disadvantage and after this, they took the first game of the series.

The second game was swift and somewhat incomprehensible. Everything happened extremely quickly: from the mega creeps to the enemy's defeat separated only by a  Natus Vincere's walk along the middle lane, which ended with a broken throne. 1 : 1 — the "yellow-black" starts the day with a draw.

However, the viewers were much more interested in the second match of the day, because we had a very exciting CIS rivalry to . Everyone expected a lot from the match against  Virtus.pro, and NAVI players did not disappoint!

The guys had two great games, rightly leading in each of them and showing a very confident level of play. In the second game, it felt like the enemy was confused: the "yellow-black" played incredibly. As a result, 2 : 0 - the first victory of  Natus Vincere was achieved in a very important match!

was played against Ninjas in Pyjamas, a European team led by the famous captain ppd. The group stage is not going so well for the "ninjas", so, many viewers rightly expected the victory of  NAVI and getting them much-needed points.

The "yellow-blacks" picked up Alchemist in two games in a row and played in a similar scenario, by letting their carry get his hands on all of the farm on the map. Such a strategy was a success: our guys took one more victory into their asset and finished the day on the high note!

Tomorrow,  Natus Vincere players will have two matches to play — against Fnatic and Royal Never Give Up. The start of the first match is scheduled for 05:30, the format is best of 2. #navination
