The International 2019 Group stage: defeat against Fnatic
The first loss.
The first rival of NAVI.GG.BET on the third day will be the representative of Southeast Asia — Fnatic. The match will be a Bo2 series.
This team had a decent season, taking seventh place in the Dota Pro Circuit ranking and thus providing themselves with The International 2019 slot. So, Fnatic has taken part in five Major tournaments and even made it to the top 3 of the DreamLeague Season 11. A very worthy result, given how high the competition in the home region is.
As for the line-up, the team decided to make one substitution after they secured themselves a slot at the tournament in Shanghai. MP left the team, and Jabz switched roles from support to position 1. The vacant role of the "five", in turn, took another player from South Korea — DuBu.
The remaining team members are also well known. In addition to the renowned veteran iceiceice, Fnatic is also represented by Abed and DJ — some of the best players of the region.
There were no face-to-face meetings over the past season between Natus Vincere and Fnatic. However, even without previous encounter records, it is clear that the upcoming match will be very difficult: both teams want to start the playoffs from the upper bracket, so they will do everything possible to achieve a positive result.

After a relatively equal start to the game, the opponent broke ahead, making several important kills. Fnatic were in the lead with about 7k gold advantage.
The game didn't really go well for NAVI from that point onwards: 28 minutes in we had to gg out, as Gyrocopter died without buyback. The first game goes to the opponent.

The initial stage of the game was relatively equal until the fight near Radiant Shrine. Fnatic players had an excellent counterattack and seized the gold lead — 4k net worth. 3-4 enemy heroes were leading the net worth chart.
A similar fight took place 28 minutes in: we initiated the fight, but the opponent reset using Naga Siren's ultimate and killed off a few NAVI heroes. Still, this didn't allow Fnatic to take down any lane.
The game ended in 7 minutes after a long siege by the enemy. Unfortunately, the “yellow-blacks” failed to do anything with Naga Siren and lost the game.
