The International 2019: end of the road
NAVI leave The International
The first rivalof NAVI.GG.BET in the playoffs of The International 2019 will be the representative of Southeast Asia— Mineski. Match format — best of 1.
The position of both teams in the groups was similar: after a good overall performance, they stopped literally one step from the upper bracket playoffs. Moreover, if Natus Vincere players were 2 points behind, then Mineski only needed one point.
Speaking generally about the performance of the opponent, they didn't have a great season to put it into their asset. So, the team played in two Majors and one Minor championship. The results were not enough to get a direct invitation to the main tournament of the year, so Mineski had to overcome the regional qualification, where the team was the strongest (although in the decisive gameagainst Team Jinesbrus brought them a lot of difficulties).
It should be noted that the composition of the team has undergone changes several times during the season. In fact, the current five have been playing together since June of this year. Nevertheless, the team shows a good performance, with such first-class players as kpii, Moon, Ninjaboogie, Bimbo and the player from Europe Nikobaby.
The match for NAVI will be incredibly difficult because the continuation of the performance at the tournament is at stake. And the best of 1 format does not give you the second chance, so they need to prepare themselves well and do their best. We are sure that the "yellow-black" will properly study Mineski and willbe ableto achieve a positive result!
And if you are by chance in Kyiv then you can enjoy the matches of The International 2019 tournament in the ! Come to the minus second level of the : you will find a varied menu, classic and signature cocktails, game consoles and, of course, matches involving your favorite team!

The game started off with an early First Blood for Mineski, but then, the lanes calmed down for a while. W_Zayac was going for aggressive rotations around the map, scoring a few kills in the process. However, Wraith King of the enemy was enjoying solid farm, and the Dire managed to take a few towers. Eventually, though, as NAVI started getting a bit more farm, we felt more comfortable around the map. 20 minutes in, Mineski had a 3k gold advantage.
27 minutes in, a fight broke out near the Roshpit, after NAVI initiated. Both teams had to use some buybacks, but ultimately, we finished off 4 heroes. With that momentum, we went for the Roshan, and claimed the Aegis for Sniper, going for the highground push. 4 heroes dead for Mineski yet again, and we take down T4 towers. However, Mineski managed to catch several of our heroes in their base, which enabled them to go for their own push.
At 37 minutes, NAVI went for the second Roshan, and Mineski were not fast enough. After a pickoff on Lina, we lost our Earth Spirit and decided to fall back a bit, taking down bottom Shrine. After a good fight top, we retreated. However, the following fights were back and forth, and the teams became even yet again. Slowly but surely, Mineski got the lead, going to 14k gold advantage. The lead grew, and we weren't able to come back. The final prolonged fight saw NAVI use a lot of buybacks, and go for a throne play, but we weren't able to take it down fast enough.
