[LIVE] Preseason Invitational: Day 1

The first game kicks off at 14:30

Apex Legends Preseason Invitational event starts today, and NAVI.GG.BET is joining the fray. 80 teams from around the world will compete for a prize pool of $ 500,000.

The first game day will see yellow-blacks play 3 games in the group; the results of those will determine who gets to take part in the original upper bracket, and who drops to the lower.

The participants in the group stage are divided into four groups of 20 teams each. Then, 10 teams from each group that showed the best results will go to the second round of the championship, and the rest of the participants will move to the lower bracket.

In the second round, the first two groups and two second groups will be combined and will play three matches again. The top 10 teams of each group will go to the next stage, where they will play three matches again. Top 10 teams will go to the grand finals. It should be noted that participants with the worst results will fall into the lower bracket.

As for the lower bracket, in the first round, it will include two groups of 20 teams each: these are teams that got into the lower half of their group in the upper bracket of the tournament. Gradually, in each round of the lower bracket, the teams will be eliminated until the final ten with the best results makes it into the grand finals.

In the final part of the tournament, the number of rounds is unlimited. The Preseason Invitational champion will be the team that, after scoring certain minimum points, will be able to win the match. Moreover, the number of teams that can have this minimum number of points is unlimited.

Point system

1st place - 12 points.
2nd place - 9 points.
3rd place - 7 points.
4th place - 5 points.
5th place - 4 points.
6-10th places - 2 points.
11-15th places - 1 point.
16-20th places - 0 points.

For each kill, the team receives an extra point.
