MDL Chengdu Major qualifier

From October 5th to 10th, the first joint qualifier of Dota Pro Circuit 2019/2020 season is to take place. NAVI.GG.BET has received a direct invite to MDL Chengdu Major qualifier.

In total, ten teams will participate in the qualification — six received direct invitations, and four more were selected through open qualifiers.

All participants are divided into two groups of six teams each: the two best teams in each group go into the second phase, the teams that took third places go to the third phase, and the rest leave the qualifiers.

In the second phase, the participants will play the Double Elimination bracket to determine 2 teams that will advance to MDL Chengdu Major.

Qualification format

Group stage (October 5-6):
— 10 teams divided into 2 groups 5 teams each;
— Round Robin best of 2;
— teams on the first and second places advance to the second phase;
— teams in the third places advance to the third phase;
— teams on the 4-5th places leave the competition. 

Playoffs (October 7-8):
— 4 teams;
— Double Elimination bracket with best of 3 matches;
— winners of the upper and lower bracket get to the Major tournament.
