StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 8

StarSeries & i-League Season 8 is the new tournament from October 21 to 27. The competition will take place in Belek (Turkey) and will bring together 16 teams to play for $500,000.

The tournament will be held in two phases: a group stage and the playoffs. The first stage will see GSL system being used, and 8 teams - 4 per group, will advance further. All matches will be held in the best of 3 format.

The teams that will play the first two games without any mistakes guarantee their place in the upper bracket of the playoffs, and the teams that have entered the playoffs through the lower bracket will start the final stage of the championship from the lower bracket. The playoffs will be held in double-elimination (best of 3).

GROUP STAGE:

- 2 groups of 8 teams;
- all matches- best of 3;
- the best two teams of each group go to the upper playoff bracket;
- teams that take 3rd and 4th places go to the lower playoff bracket;
- the remaining teams of each group leave the competition.
