Pie: Introduction
Pie — about himself, an invitation to NAVI and a chance in Montreal
Ellis «Pie» Pyart, who is currently standing in for NAVI.GG.BET, gave a big interview during which he told about himself, shared his thoughts about the game and set goals for World Championship.
I’m feeling relieved, Coming into the team with such short notice and helping them secure the victories to qualify for Japan is a really good feeling, as exciting.
My name is Pie. I’m 21 Years old from South Wales, UK. I started playing games at a very young age and always been obsessed with shooters! I originally started with CS:GO and then ventured into the Battle Royale genre. After some time I started playing Siege and was having a lot of fun and sooner or later I was playing with some of the top players and here we are.
My actual username is “Pie” Reasoning for Pyee is because I couldn’t get the original name “Pie” on most social medias so I mixed up my Last name “Pyart” & My username to create “Pyee”.
It’s to do with my heritage, I’m mainly Welsh. Then French & South African.
I believe every player that goes through the stage of “doubt” when looking for teams, just like I did but luckily I was reached out to by the NAVI guys and given the chance to play again.
I’m very ready & prepared to show to everyone what I can do.
It was very sudden, Less than 24 Hours before playing against PENTA Sports I was asked to sub in as I was just relaxing, Very unexpected.
It was very sad to hear as I always looked up to Doki as I was his former teammate on Vexed, He taught me a lot so I definitely looked up to him. Actions do have consequences, And I believe Doki understands this and he’ll grow from it and come back stronger with a stronger will to keep his team at the top.
I was competing in PUBG at the time. I was playing Siege on the side as it was fun and a change to the Battle Royale Genre. I got into competing through Pengu, Our friend group at the time formed Vexed where we competed in the ESL Premiership.
I tried games like League of Legends and honestly had no idea what I was doing.. FPS shooters is where I'll be staying.
I currently only play Siege, There are not many games out there that peak my interest.
Not really have any hobbies other than gaming. I do love watching Movies & listening to music a lot.
I’d most likely be in the Military as that’s been a dream, Growing up playing with Army figures, Watching war movies. That or working construction.
They seem to be balancing a lot of the “overpowered” things in the game as of late, so I'm happy they’re listening.
I personally like the idea, it offers extra content and you have the choice to pay or not to so there’s no loss in them introducing the Battle Pass, I for one will be purchasing it.
They’re currently trying to balance Jackal which is very much needed, I would like to see a Mira nerf with being able to see through the mirror both ways.
I think Ash will be everyone’s favorite, But for me, I feel Zofia is better in a competitive environment as she offers more utility.
Currently, I see no issues with the maps as of now.
I believe they both can stay, especially with GiFu adding Jonitr to their roster, a former teammate of mine so I know what he can do. PENTA are a great team and good friends of mine, I see them working it out and staying in Pro League for the next season.
I think it’s fair, If they want it, they can get it for sure.
The Premiership is definitely if getting more competitive which is always good for the scene.
I personally think us, We’re our own worst enemy. If we’re having a very good day we’re unstoppable. if a bad day occurs then we’ll MAYBE start to struggle.
I believe we can prove ourselves in Montreal. We’re very confident.
I do wanna thank everyone one of you for the support you have given to me & even Doki at this time. I am greatly appreciative of all the support.
