Even though some still associate 
Team Liquid with the champion team of The International 2017 — 
KuroKy and co — the current roster is entirely different. The Alliance players have been signed up at the start of the season: while the team performs at a good level, but there are no big victories for it.
The last full-blown duel between Natus Vincere and Team Liquid happened at ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore tournament. In that series our guys claimed a landslide victory with a score of 2: 0.
In the opening match of DreamLeague Season 13, NAVI outplayed 
Evil Geniuses with a score of 2: 1. The opponent, in turn, won against 
paiN Gaming - also with a score of 2: 1. Now, the winners of the initial fights will clash in the battle for a spot in the upper bracket of the playoffs from the first place in the group.
Recall that the loser of this match will play another match today - for the second place of the group. The rival will be one of two teams - Evil Geniuses or paiN Gaming.

The early game between the teams was rather even: neither Radiant nor Dire were lagging behind, getting some kills and farming for necessary items. So, by 15-17 minutes the teams were dead even, with the net worth difference of less than 1k gold.
By minute 25 Natus Vincere started to make their presence on the map a lot more noticeable thanks to the pushing potential: mid T3 tower and a barrack didn't stand a chance, which put us at 8k gold advantage. The Radiant didn't let go of the map from that point onwards, slowly draining the resources of the Dire.
Team Liquid kept sinking down: our team had great fights and also took down the entire bottom lane. By 35 minutes the net worth difference was favoring us decisively, with 22k gold lead.
The game ended fairly soon, with the "yellow-blacks" going for the last lane of the opponent. The fight in the top lane was disastrous for the dire, and they had nothing to defend themselves. NAVI gets the lead in the series.

The first 15 minutes of the game went under the control of our team; we scored lots of kills and had a rather decent farm. Thanks to that, NAVI secured a very early advantage, with 8k gold lead by the end of the laning stage.
The snowball continued, as we were getting even more kills while the opponent had to play very defensively, not getting much out of the map. Ultimately, we were not willing to let the game continue for longer than it should, and went on the offensive: in 10 minutes, the opponent was not able to do anything, and the final fights in the Dire base proved it. The fight was lost, and Team Liquid conceded — 2 : 0 for NAVI!
