NAVI to take on the winners of the Open Qualifier!

The draw for the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018 qualifier has been revealed, pairing ua NAVI.GG.BET with the winners of the open qualifiers, kz Team Invincible. The game will take place 15:00 CET, February 10th.

As far as the format goes, the competition is structured as a double-elimination bracket with bo3 matches, which means that each team can afford one loss without being knocked out. The participants will be battling it out over four days, February 10th-13th, with only one team advancing to the main event.

The qualifier will feature eight teams: ua Natus Vincerekz Team Invincible, ru Effectru Gambit Esportsru Team Empire, ru Team Spiritru Vega Squadron and kz Team Kazakhstan, the last team being the second winners of the open qualifiers. With such a stacked qualifier, contestants will have to do their very best to secure the trip to China.

The main event is set to take place from March 30th through April 7h, with 16 teams fighting over the prize pool of $1,500,000 and 1,500 Dota Pro Circuit points. Qualified teams will join six direct invitees — cn Invictus Gamingcn Newbee, eu Team Liquideu Team Secret, ru Virtus.pro and cn Vici Gaming.
