Team Liquid in the quarterfinals of IEM Katowice 2020. The match will begin on February 28 at 18:55 CET and will be held in the best of 3 format.
Liquid started the tournament with a victory against 
Virtus.pro (2 : 0). Next up, the team faced EG for a spot in the playoffs, and the fight ended up going the way of Liquid (2 : 1). But in the final of the upper bracket of Group B, the Americans were unsuccessful: they lost to 
G2 (0: 2) and went to the quarterfinals of IEM Katowice. The last time NAVI faced Liquid was at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2019, with our squad winning (16 : 14 — Dust2).

Dust2 — Natus Vincere [16:11] Liquid
The pistol round went to the NAVI's asset, the Americans responded by winning the force buy. Liquid coped with the eco rounds of terrorists without any problems, but our guys were stronger in the buy round.
Then there was an exchange of rounds between the teams, which led to problems with the economy of terrorists. When Liquid's financial situation stabilized, NAVI continued to control the fight. The end of the first half was retained by NAVI, which allowed the team to win with a score of 10 : 5.
In order to increase the chance of a comeback for the attacking side, it was desirable for Liquid to win either the pistol round or force buy. The opponent coped with this task by winning the pistol round. After winning the pistol round, the American team reduced the difference in the score to one point - 9 : 10.
Then the game continued on toe to toe action: none of the teams wanted to give points without a fight. And the winners of this race were our guys! As a result, NAVI defeated Liquid on Dust2 - 16 : 11.

Natus VincereMirage — Natus Vincere [16:13] Liquid
Mirage started with another round exchange: NAVI was stronger in the pistol, while Liquid showed better results in a half purchase. So Liquid was led 3 : 1 in the match.
After recovering the economy, NAVI scored two points in a row. In the seventh draw, Liquid managed to take a round. However, the Americans had to give up the round in return and get the economy reset. At the end of the first half of the meeting the Natus Vincere players had no errors - and won it with the score 9 : 6.
The second pistol and the economy ended in Liquid's favor. After the victory in the buy round, NAVI took control of the fight and took the lead in the score - 13 : 9. Subsequently, our guys got six match points at their disposal, but executed the fourth one. The final result - 16 : 13.
