The ESL Pro League S6 Relegation game had

GODSENT for a chance to retain their place in the high tier. The result was the hard-earned victory for our squad - 2:1!

Game 1 - Natus Vincere [1:0] GODSENT
The first game started with the pistol round for the T side, as we found ourselves at a man disadvantage. GODSENT capitalized on that and got 3 rounds in a row before the first buy round. The buy round was taken by us on a retake, and we prevented the reset and caught up to the opponent - 3:3. Round 8 saw s1mple get a clutch defuse before being shot down, but the round was ours anyway. We recovered from the initial situation, as we managed to break the 10-round scoreline, closing out the half 11-4.
The second pistol round was taken by the opponent yet again, and they capitalized on that, going on a streak. However, we were also not lagging behind, getting some round on board and planting, making our economy somewhat stable. The first match point came at 15:10, and GODSENT did not manage to turn the game around, as we take it away 16:10, even if not without a few slips.
Game 2 - Natus Vincere [1:1] GODSENT
The first round saw NAVI plant the bomb, but not managing to defend it, with the second round following the suit. The beginning was not coming together for us, as we dropped 4 rounds in a row and counting. We were getting quite close to making it happen several times, but the CT side seemed to be stronger. Our first point came on board during the 8th round, yet we got reset right after. 11th round was a very clutch one, as Edward was the one to clutch it out by denying the defuse, and from there onwards we managed to get something done, taking a few rounds, with the half closing at 4:11.
The pistol round of the second half was taken by NAVI, as we started to make our way back up. 4 rounds in Flamie got an extremely close defuse with 0.3 seconds left. The rounds continued coming in, as we inched closer to the opponent until we finally caught up at 11:11 with a massive comeback, trading the rounds, with both teams coming dead close - 14:14. NAVI and GODSENT were very close to the match point, and the opponent managed to use our poor economy against us, as they close out the map 14-16.
Game 3 - Natus Vincere [2:1] GODSENT
The pistol round and the one after were taken by GODSENT, while NAVI took the third one, but did not manage to plant during the next one. The map stabilized a bit, as we came to a temporary tie - 3 points eachÑŽ The next round was a true nail-biter, as mere fractions of seconds were needed for the CT side to defuse, and they did not get a chance to. This propelled us further, as we were able to get more points, getting further ahead. Some rounds were closer than others, but overall we maintained a good lead, and secured the first half with 9:6 despite a somewhat unsuccessful start.
The pistol round of the second half was taken by NAVI, but then GODSENT turned the tables, rapidly decreasing the round gap, which damaged our economy. This allowed the opponent to catch up at 10:10, and we traded rounds, yet the opponent turned out to be stronger. The game was getting increasingly intense - tons of trades all over the map, until we tied it back up at 13:13 and chose to save for the next round. That turned out to be the right call, as the next round the saved weapons came in handy, as we claimed it and the subsequent one - match point at 15:14, and the match taken immediately after. Natus Vincere get to stay in the high tier of ESL Pro League!
