LeBron: a new support of Natus Vincere!

Nikola "LeBron" Popovic has recently joined our ranks as a fifth position support, and we decided to take a look at his esports profile and see what his stats and preferred heroes are.

We have first looked at the general statistics of the player: according to Dotabuff,  LeBron has a total of 1178 matches in the pro-scene with a 52,38% win rate and a 2,35 KDA. Although quite modest, these stats shouldn't come as a surprise: despite quite a vast competitive experience Nikola has never played in high-profile teams, and generally, support roles tend to suffer the most in the game.

As far as his all-time most picked heroes are concerned,  LeBron has opted for Earth Spirit the most in competitive matches: this hero was picked in 80 games with a 2,8 KDA. His second most picked hero is Visage, who has 52 games with a 2,3 KDA. Disruptor rounds out the trio with 49 games and a 2,21 KDA. Worth noting is that Kunkka is another hero that tends to appear in his drafts very often, while also being one of the most successful heroes in  LeBron's pool: he boasts a 58,7 % win rate in 46 matches with quite a high KDA of 3,53.

Looking at the more recent stats of our newcomer, the aforementioned Kunkka has been his most popular and successful hero over the past six months, as he appeared in 36 matches with a 3,42 KDA.

Next up we have some common hero picks of the current meta: Earthshaker (24 games), Sand King (20 games), Earth Spirit (19 games) as well as Enchantress, Night Stalker, Lich (16 games each). All of them have a roughly equal KDA of around 2,5. LeBron's most successful hero, surprisingly, has been Ancient Apparition, who won in 7 out of 10 games with a 3,81 KDA.

All in all,  LeBron's most peculiar feature as a player is, perhaps, his versatility: he can use both fourth and fifth position supports to his team's advantage and hence provides a great draft variability.

For the most part, however,  LeBron will still be playing in the fifth position, as this is the role in which he especially excels. With his extensive hero pool and vast knowledge of how such heroes work best, we are sure Nikola will be a great fit for our team and will help us achieve new heights! #gonavi
