DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe

From May 19 to June 16 DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe awaits us. The competition will be held online and will bring together 16 teams, which will play for $ 160 000.

The tournament will include a group stage and playoffs. The first stage of the competition will be in the GSL format, and 12 teams will advance through it - 3 from each group. Thus, the winners of the group stage will go to the upper bracket of the tournament, and the teams that took 2nd and 3rd places will start their performance from the lower bracket. All games will be played in the best of 3 format.

As for the playoffs, a double elimination, best of 3 bracket will be played, except for the Grand Final, where the teams will have to fight up to three victories (the team from the upper bracket will have one map advantage). It should be noted that DH Masters Spring 2020 is part of the Intel Grand Slam, but due to the coronavirus the current event was temporarily suspended.

Group stage:

— 4 groups with 4 teams in each;
— all matches will be played in best of 3;
— top teams from each group advance to the upper bracket playoffs;
— teams that took 2nd and 3rd places will go to the lower bracket;
— the rest leaves the championship.
