Esports routine: Gospadarov and clawz
What's the daily routine of the NAVI players?
The Natus Vincere players Kirill "Gospadarov" Gospadarov and Nikita "clawz" Marchinsky shared their daily routine and gave advice on how to manage time in order to have enough for practice and rest.
I wake up at 9 or 10 with the help of an alarm. I rarely wake up on my own.
I don't use an alarm to wake up. It depends but I try to ensure that my day starts at 10:30 or 11:00.
Before breakfast, I drink a glass of water, wash my face, and then I prepare my meal. I like to have casseroles or coffee with syrniki (Russian cheese pancakes).
I go for breakfast at 10:30-11:00.
I go to the gym three times a week, but sometimes I cheat and skip it because of the games or the driving school.
My morning exercise is to pull the charger out the phone, after breakfast I do some pull-ups. I do it twice a day.
I usually start at 12:30. The team practice starts at 13:00 and it lasts until 21:00-22:00. Then I have a little rest and continue with individual practice. I can't say exactly how much I practice individually, it is always different.
We practice with the team for 4 or 5 hours, and individually for 2-3 hours.
I watch tv shows or go for a walk. "The Last Dance", "Punisher", "Daredevil", "Breaking Bad" — I really liked those.
I relax from games on a pull-up bar and from the pull-up bar, I relax in games.
I prefer protein products and vegetables, usually chicken with salad or cottage cheese with honey or jam.
I usually have dinner after our practice, around 23:30, I prefer meat.
I go out about once a week or twice. The city is small, there is no place to go for walks, so I go to some bars or venues or to another city with friends.
My walks are usually to the pull-up bar or to the garden with potatoes (about 10 seconds at a relaxed pace).
I go to bed after 12:00 PM, closer to 1:00 or 2:00 AM. Generally, I fall asleep slowly, without YouTube or watching anything, just by myself.
I try to go to bed between 01:00 and 02:00 AM, I fall asleep quite fast. But I fall asleep much faster when I watch videos from our channel (plus I don't have nightmares).
I am trying to figure out the best way to spend my day. I'm experimenting and trying to figure it out. The most important thing is sleep, which is not so good in my case. So sometimes I wake up tired and it's hard to be in focus.
There are no tricks, but there's a motivation to get better, and that's what moves you to get better.
Strive for a consistent schedule and go to sleep and wake up at a certain time, devote some time to the physical activities on a regular basis. The main thing is to perform in the way your body allows you. Structure your day, for example, you will only be playing from 18:00 to 23:00. Whatever it might be: scrims, deathmatches, practices with bots, or watching demos.
Just play, and you will succeed!
The most important thing is to get up early, and the rest will work out and it'll be fine. Boys live a healthy life!
