Six Invitational 2021 Qualification: NAVI is in the semifinals

Ubisoft shared the details of the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege World Championship — Six Invitational 2021. The event will be held in LAN-format.

The exact date of the event is not yet known. The company plans to hold the championship in February 2021 and is currently working on the format of the group stage and main stage.

As for the participants of the competition, for the first time in history, there will be 20 teams. 16 of them were determined according to the overall rating and scored points, and the four remaining places will go to the winners of qualifications in the regions of North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe.

gb Natus Vincere will be competing in the latter qualification. The qualifying matches will be held from December 10th to 20th and will be divided into three stages. The Born to Win passed the first two stages and went straight to the final thanks to the number of qualification points.

Matches with gb NAVI will be held on December 19-20. Our team went straight to the semi-final of the Single Elimination bracket together with fr Tempra Esports. Semifinal matches will be held in the best of 3 format, the final battle for the slot in the Six Invitational 2021 will be played in best of 5.

The prize pool for the world championship is $ 500 000: it will increase with every purchase of a battlepass Road to S.I. 2021 (30% of sales). The maximum prize fund of Six Invitational 2021 is $ 3 000 000. All the extra money received will be used to develop the Rainbow Six Siege professional scene in the next season. #navination
