CYpheR extends contract with NAVI for 2021
Natus Vincere esports club has extended the contract with Alexei «cYpheR» Yanushevsky for 2021. The player will continue to represent NAVI in Quake Champions discipline, and he will also actively stream.
Alexei joined the club on April 9, 2019, as an Apex Legends player, then he became a coach of the roster, before putting all his focus on Quake. Under his guidance, NAVI came second in a LAN-championship Preseason Invitational and TwitchCon San Diego, earning over $ 100 000 in total.
In Quake, cYpheR is one of the most titled players: he has won the World Championship 12 times. Alexei’s most notable results in 2020 include 4th place at QPL S2 Stage 1 Finals and second place at QPL S1 Stage 3 Finals.
“Since September 2020, I’ve been training very hard for the season finals. In the process, I noticed some gaps, which had been already pinpointed before… I still lack stamina and resilience, but I’m working on it.
Right now, keeping myself in shape and to increase the time to practice is the highest priority. The next Quake Pro League Finals will be in April, which is what I’m focusing on right now.
I’d like to thank NAVI and fans for their support. Cheer me at the championships and follow my Twitch-channel!”
