S1mple is second in the HLTV.org 2020 rankings

Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev is one of the top three players in the world according to HLTV.org

HLTV.org announced the of the best CS:GO players in 2020. Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev took second place, repeating his last year's result. First place went to Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut ( Team Vitality).

In 2020, s1mple was awarded an MVP title twice: at IEM Katowice 2020 and ESL Pro League Season 12. And according to the results of ICE Challenge, EPL Season 11 Europe, DreamHack Masters Spring Europe, BLAST Premier Spring Europe, IEM Beijing, BLAST Premier Fall Finals, IEM Global Challenge Oleksandr received the title of EVP (Exceptionally Valuable Player - a player who showed a high result at a tournament but did not receive MVP).

s1mple finished the season with a rating of 1.28. Other noteworthy stats include the highest average number of frags per round (0.85), the maximum number of rounds with one or more frags (54.1%). NAVI player also has the best K/D ratio(+ 1138).

Congratulations to s1mple for the respectable result and we will be waiting for first place in a similar ranking in 2021. As a reminder, Oleksandr already topped the HLTV.org rankings in 2018.
