NAVI — BLAST Premier: Global Final Champions!

NAVI are the champions of the BLAST Premier: Global Final!

The first of the season came to an end: ua NAVI CS:GO roster won the grand final against dk Astralis a 2-0 victory, and earning $ 600,000 for their performance.

ua NAVI kicked off the tournament with a 0 : 2 loss to us Team Liquid. Thus forcing the team to go through the lower bracket, where they first beat dk Complexity (2 : 1) and then had no issue facing eu G2 Esports (2 : 0). In the lower bracket round 3, our team had a chance to take revenge against our first opponent of the tournament us Team Liquid and they were able to do so, scoring a 2 : 0 victory. In the lower bracket final, our team defeated our main rival fr Team Vitality (2 : 1). The match lasted for almost 4 hours, but ua NAVI managed to take the upper hand (Nuke 19 : 17, Overpass 12 : 16, Dust2 16 : 10).

The decisive match of the championship took place after one hour's rest: dk Astralis was already awaiting us there. Despite the tough encounter, the Born to Win managed to earn a victory in the grand final, thus breaking the series of unsuccessful performances.

Congratulations to the boys on their first title in 2021! Special thanks to the fans who supported our team throughout the tournament. Our match between ua NAVI and fr Vitality, for example, was the most-watched match in the history of online CS:GO and the third most-watched match in general (not counting the Major). It gathered more than 650,000 viewers at its peak!
