S1mple - Best player of the winter season!
Oleksandr "s1mple' Kostyliev topped the highest-ranked players' list to be named the best player of the winter season!
The list of the winter season's best players has been released recently, and we are delighted that our very own 
Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev topped it by a wide margin! He scored a 1.37 rating followed by 
NAF with 1.24 and has a comfortable lead in the other two stats with 1.51 K-D and +344 K-D differential ( 
coldzera, who is the second highest KD player, has 1.39 K-D / +270 K-D differential!).
Another great news is that we have two more Born to Win players featured on this list: 
Egor "flamie" Vasiliev (a 1,17 rating / + 113 KD differential/ 1,14 KD) and Denis "electronic" Sharipov (a 1,10 rating / + 61 K-D differential / 1.08 K-D).

s1mple is miles ahead of everyone else, there's no doubt he's currently the best player in the world
The stats have been collected over the most recent events, namely DreamHack Winter 2017, ELEAGUE Boston Major and StarSeries S4. The competitions in Sweden and Ukraine saw s1mple receive MVP honors, with the latter being the first MVP award ever which went to a player who didn't win the event.
Also at StarSeries S4, s1mple was able to set a world record for winning the biggest number of clutches (19) and smashed a record for the highest K-D differential formerly held by 
Snax (+141 K-D).
DreamHack Winter 2017 saw s1mple find an even better shape, as he finished it with an astounding 1.52 rating, 92.1 ADR, and a 1.78 K-D. He carried this momentum into Boston's major, where he continued delighting fans with great plays and scored the best players' list yet again with a 1.23 rating, 1.31 K-D differential, and an 81.8 ADR.
What's most impressive is that s1mple puts in those impressive performances against some of the world's best squads: though DreamHack Winter 2017 had mostly Tier-2 teams in attendance, ELEAGUE Boston Major and StarSeries S4 were quite heavily stacked.
