European League 2021 — Stage 1

R6 / News / 18 March 2021 — 20:46

We should note quite an unusual format of the first stage of the League. The teams in the top 4 will compete for the prize money, which was planned to be drawn at the Major tournament. Since the Major was canceled, the Six Invitational 2021 World Championship will be held instead.

As for the competition format, it has undergone some changes since last season. Teams can still expect a round-robin with a best of 1 matches, but there will be no draws: all matches must end with a victory of one of the teams in regulation or in overtime.
