NAVI surprised the opponents at the draft stage already: Lina, who is seen rather rarely in ourdrafts recently, appeared in the pick for
Dendi and the hero for
GeneRaL was Death Prophet, traditionally chosen by players for the first or second position. Opponents opted for Shadow Fiend and Clockwerk, boosting the former with the Power Cogs. The game started off with much commotion; the First Blood didn't happen until 5 minutes in - Shadow Fiend was killed.
Gradually, the game became more dynamic: the teams carried out mutual attacks. In one of them, NAVI sent 2 heroes of the opponent back to the tavern, and
Crystallize alone dealt with the enemy's midlane. On the 12th minute, the teams traded heroes again:
Natus Vincere finished off Clockwerk, while the "bears" - Death Prophet. The fighting was far from done, though: soon
Virtus.pro pulled a series of successful engagements and claimed 4k net worth advantage by the 17th minute.
Using the absence of Dendi, the "bears" entered Roshpit 19 minutes in, giving their Juggernaut the Aegis. Nevertheless,
NAVI still had a good game: not only the guys knocked out Aegis of Immortality but also killed Juggernaut and Clockwerk, while suffering minimal losses themselves. 22 minutes in
Virtus.pro managed to initiate the fight and catch our team by surprise: in the aftermath of the fight, we lost 2 T2 towers.
Feeling confident in their abilities, opponents marched down the bottom lane, finishing off the last outer tower of NAVI. The economic advantage of
Virtus.pro reached 13k gold 28 minutes in, and our players were in a rather tough position. In addition, the opponents had Aegis and Cheese to back them up.
NAVI managed to gain some time, picking off Sand King, and also drawing the attention towards
Lil.
Despite that, the opponents sieged the high ground in the bottom lane and won the fight - the barracks were destroyed. Having regrouped, the "bears" attacked the other side and brought the game to its end. The victory in the series goes to Virtus.pro.
